Curiously, my makeup nerdom started with a simple pink lip gloss…that came in the shape of pink lips. I was just 5 years-old, living in the small town of Freedom, New Hampshire and the lipgloss was a gift from my beautiful mother. She had no idea she was creating a monster (or maybe she did?). I found myself in elementary school using some of my allowance towards face creams and makeup instead of the things that my friends were purchasing. I did get an amazing purple eyeshadow that I put on right before my yearly class picture in the 6th grade…well, it matched my pink and purple striped shirt!

Having red hair and freckles back then had some beauty challenges. I couldn’t look in a magazine to find what cosmetics would look good on a redhead. They simply didn’t bother to consider us then. It was either blonde or brunette. And that’s it. So with that bit of softly-implied rejection, I knew I never wanted anyone else to feel left out like I did, and wanted to be sure everyone felt special. It kind of felt like a calling.

For three decades in the Boston area, I honed my skills and expertise while collaborating with a multitude of renowned and prestigious brands. This includes iconic names like Kiehl’s Since 1851, Fresh, MAC Cosmetics, Trish McEvoy, Nars, Clarins, RMS Beauty, Laura Mercier, Chantecaille, La Mer, Naturopathica, Hourglass Cosmetics, along with other well-respected partners.

My experience in the beauty industry encompasses various roles such as managing retail cosmetics stores and overseeing spas. As a lead esthetician, I have perfected my skills in skincare and beauty treatments.

Moreover, I have showcased my makeup expertise in diverse settings, including photo shoots, runway events, and for salon and department store clientele.
